Savas has 25+ years of experience as an owner / operator of medallion-based transportation
businesses in the United States, including in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New
Orleans.
Adna Pekmezovic – Executive Director – Financial Strategy and Operations
Adna is a finance professional focused on strategic execution of business opportunities.
Adna started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Leveraged Finance, working on
leveraged buyouts, M&A, and capital raises for various companies across all sectors and
stages.
Joseph Sorentino – Marketing and Business Development
Joseph leads marketing and business development, with a focus on attracting and retaining
drivers. He was previously a Strategy Lead for General Motors and led the development of
some of their most impactful campaigns around the transition to EVs.
Neill Etheridge – Advisory Board Member
Neill is a finance and business entrepreneur with a 20+ year career spanning independent
sponsorship, M&A, operating partnerships, and startups. Neill has held multiple
management roles alongside operating teams and entrepreneurs.
Steve Gournaris – General Manager – Taxi Operations
Steve has been the General Manager of LEAP Taxi’s New York operations since 2021. Prior to
joining LEAP, Steve spent 20+ years as COO of Boulevard Taxi Leasing, Inc., a New York City-
based owner and lessor of taxi medallions.
